Bivouac

Jordan Nomads is a team of local bedouin guides specialised in organizing wild itinerant bivouacs ; you will have the chance to spend an unique and authentic night under the stars, living the true bedouin life, spending time discussing around the fire holding a steaming glass of bedouin tea made in the fire, and gazing at the stars. Best way to appreciate the desert silence and to explore it without leaving behind anything but footprints !

We provide all the equipment to spend a comfortable night : sleeping bags/blankets, floor carpet, tent (if need, or you can just choose to sleep "under the stars" !), mattresses...

Dinner will be cooked fresh on fire ; you can assist the cook by helping collecting wood, or even trying it yourself if you feel like...! Or just enjoy the moment by watching his expertise 🙂

Depending on the season, the best bivouac place will be chosen by your guide ; it could be in a wild cave to protect you from the wind, or in an open valley to enjoy the fresh breeze when it's warmer, or close to a sand dune when we receive family with children for example, to let them play around, ...or in any other gorgeous place that our desert possesses !

Tips : head-lamp and wet wipes can be useful !
